Resident Evil 2 remake gets haunting screenshots of grotesque creatures
Today, Capcom shared new screenshots of Resident Evil two for current-generation systems. The game looks incredible with its detailed textures and haunting lighting. The focus this fourth dimension around is on Claire's campaign.
At the PlayStation E3 2022 reveal, it was unclear if the game was a PlayStation iv exclusive or coming to other platforms. Luckily, we reached out to Capcom and the team provided the states with confirmation that Resident Evil two was indeed coming to Xbox One on January 25, 2022, with Xbox I X enhancements in tow. The Xbox Store lists Resident Evil ii every bit a "4K Ultra Hard disk drive" title. However, in an interview with GamingBolt, Capcom Brand Manager Mike Lunn said players will be able to toggle a 60 FPS option.
Resident Evil 2 originally launched in 1998 and is considered a cult classic. The title features tense exploration and puzzle-solving gameplay that are staples in the series even to this day. For those unfamiliar with the story, players join rookie constabulary officeholder Leon Kennedy and college student Claire Redfield, who are thrust together by a disastrous outbreak in Raccoon City. The disease transforms the population into mortiferous zombies who just want to kill. Both Leon and Claire have their own playable campaigns, allowing gamers to see the story from a different betoken of view.
